Inspired Expressions Contest, Attends Awards Ceremony
to Recognize Philly High School Students
PHILADELPHIA (April 5, 2006) KSG Strategic Consulting President, Kesi Stribling,
submissions.
The contest, now in its third year, recognizes exemplary original works conceptualized by
Philadelphia high school students that articulate the Law of Life that inspires them.
Universal laws such as "Honesty is the Best Policy" and "Stand Up for Something, Or You'll
Fall for Anything" were illustrated through essays, visual art, and music.
"The incredible talent evident in the essays made judging them extremely difficult," stated
Stribling. She added that the students from participating schools are a credit to the teachers
who coached and worked with them throughout the process.
During the awards ceremony held in the Elaine C. Levitt Auditorium at the University of
the Arts' Gershman Hall on Tuesday, April 4, 2006, students who won 1st, 2nd, and third
places received monetary gifts, and all entrants were given a certificate of achievement.
The Philadelphia Inspired Expressions contest is sponsored by the Junior League of
Philadelphia, John Templeton Foundation, the School District of Philadelphia, Sullivan
Community Capital LLC, and the University of the Arts.
Stribling, a member of the Junior League of Philadelphia, concluded, "The young people
who entered this contest gave us a preview of the accomplishments they will make later in
life."
