Serves as a Panelist at the Howard University Women in
Business Conference
(March 11, 2005) KSG Strategic Consulting President, Kesi Stribling, served as a featured
panelist at the Howard University Women in Business Conference, on March 10 in
Washington, DC.
During the panel discussion on Entrepreneurship, Ms. Stribling discussed the steps to
starting a business, shared the successes and challenges of being an entrepreneur, and
identified tips for researching a potential business idea.
In addition to KSG Strategic Consulting, Denise H. Lloyd of D.H. Lloyd & Associates, Inc.,
Julie Sardie of Julie Sardie and Associates, Nicole Cober, Soul Day Spa owner, and
Washington Psychological Group joined the panel discussion.
The Women in Business Conference was one of a series of week-long events hosted by the
Howard University School of Business to expose conference goers to various areas of
business, including a session on spirituality, what students can expect after graduation, and
a luncheon culminating the conference’s completion.
“It is important for students to know what really entails starting and maintaining one’s
own business. This forum allowed the panelists to share our won experiences and serve as a
sounding board for students who are considering entrepreneurship,” stated Ms. Stribling.
She continued, “It was a distinct honor to participate as an alumna of Howard University.”
